MEASUREMENTS: The fabric width is 1” narrower than the total roller width, due to the brackets at both ends. For inside mounts, the window frame should have at least 2” depth, and blackout roller shades will have a small light gap on each side. To avoid this light gap, consider an outside mount. For outside mounts, the shade should be 4” - 6” wider than the window frame, with the length at least 2” longer than the window for better coverage.
