TYPES OF MOUNTS: When ordering shades, keep in mind that inside mounted shades will be slightly smaller to fit within the window frame. For secure installation, a minimum frame depth of 2 inches is required. If your frame depth is less than 2 inches, outside mount is recommended. Outside mounted shades should be the exact width of the area you want to cover, and are often used when inside mounting is not possible due to frame depth.

All mounting hardware is included for both inside and outside mount installations.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENTS: First, measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom, and choose the smallest measurement as your inside width when placing the order. Next, measure the height at the left, middle, and right side, again using the smallest measurement for the length when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENTS: Measure the outside frame width and add 3-6 inches to get the outside mount width. For the length, add 4-6 inches for the outside mount length, ensuring appropriate coverage and avoiding any light gaps.

INSIDE MOUNT: Measure the width and length inside the frame, order using those measurements, and we will deduct 1/4 inch during production. A window depth of at least 2 inches is required.

OUTSIDE MOUNT: Measure the outer frame width and length, add 3-5 inches to the width and 5-10 inches to the length, and order accordingly. We do not deduct any measurements for outside mounts.
